Patch Notes

Delta Force’s September 10 Update Will Make AZ3 Normal Permanent and Rework The Mog

The no-downtime patch will add vulnerable moments to Hudson's Surge Squad, remove its ability to lock through walls, and fix mission, interface, and vehicle issues.

Delta Force will receive a no-downtime update on September 10, 2026, with the biggest change arriving in Operations. AZ3 – Normal will become permanently available, while The Mog will receive several Warfare balance adjustments.

Gameplay and matchmaking will remain available during the update. Players who run into issues afterward should restart the game, while anyone using an outdated client will need to install the latest version before logging in. The patch follows the start of the Reorientation season on September 8, with this update focused on map access, balance, and cleanup rather than a new season launch.

The Delta Force team detailed the changes in its official Steam announcement.

The Mog gets new Warfare timings and objectives

The A/D version of The Mog will receive adjusted deployment points for the Sector B and Sector C phases, along with a revised Sector C boundary and combat area. Fewer Deployment Bases will sit above the attacking team’s position in Sector C, and C2 will become a Secondary Objective.

Escort the Convoy will also play differently. Anti-vehicle mines, Guided Missiles, and Artillery Barrages will deal less damage to the convoy, its movement speed will increase slightly, and the phase will start with 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Each checkpoint will add 45 seconds. Deployment points will sit slightly closer to the convoy, while the defending team’s Deployment Base locations in Phase 2 will change.

Surge Squad loses wall tracking

Hudson’s Surge Squad behavior will include more vulnerable moments during reloads, turns, and the gaps between firing bursts. The squad will also lose its ability to lock onto targets through walls, giving players clearer opportunities to respond.

The remaining fixes cover the Armory, seasonal missions, fishing, controller interfaces, rescue audio, vehicle movement, ADS visuals, and several The Mog issues. The update will also reduce Phase 1 of Taj Faris’s mission in Layali Grove to a single completion and add a Joe Reed dialogue prompt that explains the Fishing unlock requirement.
