Dead by Daylight’s Global Stats Show Regional Favorites Across the Fog
The Slasher recorded its highest kill rate in Latin America at 71.2%, while Shane Wiigwaas reached a 54.5% escape rate in Asia and Oceania.

Dead by Daylight has shared a regional look at player preferences and outcomes across Asia and Oceania, Latin America, Europe, and North America. The data covers popular perks, the most-picked Killer and Survivor, The Slasher’s kill rate, and Shane Wiigwaas’ escape rate.
The official Steam announcement said the figures focused on the first two weeks of The Slasher’s availability and Shane’s first five days. That means the numbers reflect an early period when players were still learning how to use the new characters and respond to them.
Asia and Oceania
Players in Asia and Oceania most often brought Windows of Opportunity, while Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance was the leading Killer perk. The Ghoul was the region’s most-picked Killer, and Feng Min was its most-picked Survivor.
The Slasher recorded a 64.5% kill rate in the region. Shane Wiigwaas posted the highest Survivor escape rate at 54.5%.

Latin America
Latin America was the only region to favor Déjà Vu over Windows of Opportunity as its most-picked Survivor perk. Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance led the Killer perk category, while The Huntress and Meg Thomas topped the Killer and Survivor picks.
The Slasher had the highest kill rate among the four regions here, reaching 71.2%. Shane’s escape rate was 41.2%.

Europe
European players returned to Windows of Opportunity as their most-picked Survivor perk, with Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance again leading the Killer perk category. The Mastermind was the region’s most-picked Killer, while Sable Ward was the most-picked Survivor.
The Slasher’s kill rate reached 70% in Europe. Shane Wiigwaas had a 44.6% escape rate.

North America
North America matched Europe on its two most-picked perks, with Windows of Opportunity and Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance taking the top spots. The Animatronic was the region’s most-picked Killer, and Sable Ward led the Survivor picks.
The Slasher recorded a 67.7% kill rate, while Shane’s escape rate reached 43.1%.

The graphics identify the broader data window as January 1 through June 30, 2026. The Dead by Daylight team said it will keep monitoring The Slasher’s kill rate as more players become familiar with the Killer and its counterplay.
