Crimson Desert 2.00.02 Improves Cutscene Lip Sync and Fixes 2 Gameplay Problems
The patch is available now on Steam for PC and Mac, with rollout continuing across all platforms.

Crimson Desert has received Version 2.00.02, a focused patch that improves lip-sync in certain cutscenes and addresses two gameplay problems. Pearl Abyss published the Version 2.00.02 patch notes with details on the fixes.
The update is rolling out across all platforms. Steam (PC) and Steam (Mac) both have the patch available now, while the notice does not provide separate availability statuses for the other platforms included in the wider rollout.
Players at Karin Quarry should no longer lose control while operating the small crane. Horse riders also should not be forced to dismount after colliding with a wandering merchant. The lip-sync work is partial and applies to certain cutscenes rather than every cinematic in the game.
Version 2.00.02 follows the earlier Version 2.00.01 patch, which addressed Arabic text display, cutscene lip-sync, frame-rate drops, and Mac launch stability. The new release keeps its scope focused on presentation and moment-to-moment controls.
Patch Notes Version 2.00.02
The biggest change affects character presentation, with partial lip-sync improvements in certain cutscenes. The remaining fixes cover a crane interaction at Karin Quarry and an unexpected dismount that could occur when a horse met a wandering merchant.
