Crimson Desert 1.18.00 Adds Quest Knowledge and New Lock-On Options

The Steam release is available now for PC and Mac, while the broader rollout covers all platforms.

Crimson Desert version 1.18.00 is available now on Steam for PC and Mac, with the rollout continuing across all platforms. The Steam patch notes describe a broad maintenance update covering quest knowledge, controls, trading, visuals, and stability.

The largest addition is a new “Quests” knowledge category with eight sub-categories. Research now uses camp funds instead of silvers, horse gear can be equipped at stables, and the map distinguishes areas revealed by ringing a bell from locations explored directly. The patch also addresses several progression blockers, save-loading problems, and rendering issues on certain low-end graphics cards.

Patch Notes: Version 1.18.00

Version 1.18.00 is primarily focused on fixes and quality improvements. Players should see changes to trade-goods stacking, missing merchants, mount movement, quest progression, low-FPS camera shake, frame-generation rendering, and workers failing to function after a save reload.
