Counter-Strike 2’s Cologne 2026 Stickers Will Show Final Team Placements

The new Ranked Series will cost less than the original dynamic pricing suggested while keeping the same player-to-team price relationship as the Event Series.

Valve announced the Cologne 2026 Ranked Series for Counter-Strike 2, a new set of Major stickers that will show each team’s final tournament placement in square-shaped sticker designs. The announcement appeared in a Steam update from Valve.

Cologne 2026 was the first Counter-Strike Major to omit Sticker Capsules, the random-item bundles traditionally used for team and player stickers. Instead, Valve initially priced individual stickers according to estimated interest in each player and team.

The Ranked Series will use lower prices than the original dynamic pricing system. Valve said that system reflected the relative interest in individual players and teams, but did not result in reasonable prices for the stickers. HLTV reported that some sought-after items had climbed above 150,000 tokens, or roughly $1,500, under the previous system. Some purchases also exceeded Steam’s $2,000 balance limit, meaning they could not be completed in a single transaction.

The pricing model also affected the amount teams earned from sticker sales. HLTV reported that one Stage 2 team went from $600,000 before player revenue was split at the Budapest Major to $120,000 at Cologne, leaving the organization with $60,000. The same report said one Stage 1 team was earning only $100 per day from Cologne stickers as sales slowed in late July. These figures come from HLTV’s reporting.

The new stickers have a maximum price of 6,000 tokens, or around $60 based on pricing when the announcement was published. Although the cost will be lower, the relationship between player and team prices will remain aligned with the Cologne 2026 Event Series as of the update. That gives the new stickers a consistent pricing structure while adding the final-standing information to their designs.

Cologne 2026 Shop Details

Ranked Series designs pair a team’s logo or a player’s signature with their final placement at the event. Team Falcons’ designs also include a Champion banner.

As with the other items in the Cologne 2026 Shop, 50% of royalties from the Ranked Series will support the participating teams, players, and tournament organizer. The shop will remain available until September 29, 2026.

The new designs give fans another way to support their favorite competitors while marking how teams finished at the Major. Tell us which Cologne 2026 sticker designs you plan to pick up in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.

Counter-Strike 2

Counter-Strike 2 is a free-to-play multiplayer tactical first-person shooter developed and published by Valve. Released in September 2023, it is the fifth main entry in the Counter-Strike series and serves as a direct replacement for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam. Two teams, Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists, compete in objective-based rounds across modes such as bomb defusal and hostage rescue. Built on the Source 2 engine, the game introduced volumetric smoke physics, revised weapon handling, and a new sub-tick server architecture. It inherited all cosmetic items from its predecessor and features both a map-specific Competitive mode and a numerically ranked Premier mode.
