Core Keeper 1.3.0.2 Hotfix Targets Drill Damage in Sorting Builds

The fix addresses damage dealt on the first game tick after drills receive power, which could disrupt circuitry-based item sorting.

Core Keeper’s CK 1.3.0.2 hotfix focuses on a narrow but useful repair for automation builds. The Steam announcement says drills no longer deal damage on the first game tick after receiving power, fixing an issue that could break circuitry builds used for item sorting. The fix arrives one day after the 1.3.0.1 update introduced Core Keeper 1.3.0.1 with mounts, new exploration content, and broader system changes.

The change follows the larger 1.3.0.1 release, which added mounts, new exploration content, combat options, modding tools, and a broad set of quality-of-life updates. Players using drills as part of automated storage or sorting systems should see the hotfix target a very specific point of failure rather than changing how drills normally function.
