Conan Exiles September Hotfix Released as Version 2.15

Funcom has released a September hotfix for Conan Exiles, delivered as a download version 2.15 on Sept. 23 across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The patch is small, but it targets a handful of gameplay issues players reported after last month’s larger update.

The 2.15 hotfix adjusts enemy behaviour, tweaks how house pets interact with the world, and restores missing controls for machine-style objects such as the compost bin and grinder. Full notes were posted on the developers’ forum thread for PlayStation and the developers’ forum thread for PC, where Funcom lists the fixes prioritized for this release.

Patch Notes – 2.15

  • Larval Horrors in the Dark Dregs’ final encounter have a larger attack range.
  • House Pets (ie, cats, turtles, etc) can no longer open doors
  • Restored the start/stop button for “Machine” style objects (Compost Bin, Grinder, etc)

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to select the “Bed” spawn point while dead when using a controller
  • Fixed falling out of the world when entering the Dregs with the Event System disabled
  • Consuming Set’s Antidote no longer prevents Corruption from being applied when wielding certain items

The patch applies to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC with no platform-specific differences listed.

This tweak will matter most to players running the Dark Dregs encounter, to anyone who keeps house pets, and to players using controllers who had trouble choosing bed spawn points. Want to argue about pets opening doors? Share thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X and Bluesky.
