Conan Exiles Hotfix 3.0.1 Fixes Steam Deck Crash and Adds Rift VFX Control
Alongside the Steam Deck fix, the hotfix addresses official-server crashes, spell bugs, thrall bonuses, and several Shemite item and building issues.

Conan Exiles Hotfix 3.0.1 fixes several issues from patch 3.0.0, including a crash on Steam Deck and another triggered by checking the Player List on official servers, according to Funcom’s Steam announcement. Players with audio-visual sensitivities can also suppress event AVFX locally with a new console variable.

New Additions
- Added a console variable,
dw.RiftEvent.DisableAVFX, to suppress event AVFX locally for players with audio-visual sensitivities.
Performance and Stability
- Fixed crash that was happening when checking the Player List on official servers.
- Fixed a crash that was occurring on Steam Deck. Nvidia Streamline will only load on systems with an Nvidia GPU.
- Performance improvements for 3.0 Shaggai variant VFX.
Combat
- Fixed Corrupting Miasma being able to knock out Mirror Images.
- Fixed prepare spell not resetting when canceled before selecting a spell to prepare.
Items and Equipment
- Fixed thrall bonuses not applying to armor.
- After dropping an item from your inventory the system will automatically select the preceding item.
- Fixed Shemite Spinster Tools clipping through foundations when placed.
- Removed ledges of collision on Shemite Sloped walls.
User Interface
- Fixed the inventory icon for the crafted Painted Shemite Rhino.
