Conan Exiles 1.0.3 targets Steam Deck launch problems and server bugs
The hotfix also restores data-collection preferences, fixes server disconnect tracking, and re-enables Living Settlements on three official servers.

Funcom posted Conan Exiles May Hotfix 1.0.3 on May 13, 2026, and the patch focused on launcher, server, and character-setting fixes. It makes the Funcom launcher behave better when starting Battleye on Steam Deck, addresses the - MULTIHOME hosting parameter, and brings back data-collection preference options.
The update also re-enabled Living Settlements on servers 1516, 1942, and 1509. It follows an earlier May hotfix that focused on crashes and mod loading in Conan Exiles’ May hotfix 1.0.1.
Patch Notes
This hotfix keeps the changes narrow, but the biggest wins are on the launch and server side. Steam Deck players should see a cleaner path through the Funcom launcher, hosts using multihoming should register properly again, and players can once more adjust data collection preferences. Funcom also fixed a disconnect-tracking issue on the dedicated server launcher, adjusted nudity settings behavior, and restored emotes that had been removed from characters after being learned in the world.
- Made some changes for the funcom launcher to simplify launching battleye on steam deck.
- Legacy servers upgrading to Enhanced no longer need to update config files to address version compatibility issues.
- Using the – MULTIHOME parameter for hosting will now send http requests to the server browser backend over the same interface, ensuring hosts using multihoming can register correctly.
- Reinstated options for players to configure their data collection preferences.
- Living Settlements have been re-enabled on the following servers:
- 1516 / 1942 / 1509
- Fixed an issue where player disconnects weren’t being registered with the dedicated server launcher.
- Fix for nudity settings.
- A client’s maximum nudity settings will no longer be overwritten by the server settings.
- Fixed MaxNudity server setting not saving when changed in single player or by coop host.
- Fixed issue that could cause emotes learned from the start of the game and discovered in the world to be removed from characters. Unfortunately, any emotes previously learned in the world will have to be re-learned.
