With the Vietnam & Kublai Khan DLC Pack releasing in a few days, Firaxis and 2K Games have released the soundtrack for their upcoming Civ:
The soundtrack has many musical elements from Eastern and Southeastern culture, giving players a better ambiance while playing as Vietnam. It’s no surprise to anyone as Vietnam falls into the category of a Southeastern country.
Recently, we’ve been getting a lot of news on Vietnam. First, we got a video showcasing the Civ’s capabilities, and what we’ve learned is that it’s a defensive powerhouse. A lot of its bonuses are associated with the rainforests of your world, so think twice before cutting them down!
The leader for this faction has also been revealed, and it’s going to be the heroine Bà Triệu. Known for her heroic acts against the Chinese Wu occupation of Vietnam, she’ll be a very pacifistic leader. Bà Triệu will denounce you if you’ve ever declared war on a nation and will respect you if you’re going the peaceful route.
The Vietnam & Kublai Khan pack is set to release on January 28th for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
