Black Flag Resynced Has More Pirate Adventures Planned for the GTA 6 Era
Ubisoft Singapore is considering New Game Plus, a hideable blowpipe, catch ledges, and possible side objectives for the remake.

Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced launched recently, but Ubisoft Singapore is already considering several additions for the pirate adventure. The team has not announced a release window for any of the planned features.
In a video interview, Ubisoft Singapore director Richard Knight discussed post-launch support, including bug fixes and quality-of-life changes. He also offered a playful request for players to keep sailing after Grand Theft Auto VI arrives: “Also, please play us when GTA 6 comes out.”
New Game Plus appears to be the main feature under consideration right now. Knight did not say when the mode might become available, so it remains a future addition rather than a confirmed near-term release.
The team is also looking at a small but frequently requested cosmetic adjustment. Players may eventually be able to hide Edward’s blowpipe when it is equipped, preventing the weapon from appearing on his back.
Another possibility is the catch ledge mechanic seen in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Ubisoft Singapore is considering that feature for Resynced, along with side objectives that could be added to missions. Knight presented both ideas as possibilities, not locked-in parts of a confirmed update.
For now, the studio’s plans center on continued support, bug fixes, and quality-of-life work in the coming months. Whether every proposed feature reaches the game remains unclear.
