Apex Legends’ September 23 Update Fixes 4 Issues in Fighter Mode and Wildcard KO
The patch addresses a Firing Range crash, a daily challenge that could stick at 100%, Ballistic's missing sling weapon, and a Wildcard KO respawn problem.
Apex Legends‘ September 23 update fixed 4 problems tied to Fighter Abilities, Fighter Mode, Legend spotlight pass daily challenges, and Wildcard KO. The fixes cover a Firing Range crash, a challenge that could remain at 100%, Ballistic’s sling weapon disappearing, and a post-respawn weapon lockout.
The first issue affected players using Fighter Abilities in specific circumstances inside the Firing Range. The update also corrected a visual problem with Legend spotlight pass daily challenges, which could appear complete without moving on to the next available challenge.
Fighter Mode received another targeted fix after it could sometimes delete the weapon stored in Ballistic’s sling. Wildcard KO also had a problem of its own, with some players unable to use their weapons after respawning.
The update follows the September 22 update warning for players entering the Street Fighter 6 Wildcard event. The full September 23 notes are available in the game’s Steam update notice.

- Fixed an issue in Wildcard KO where players would sometimes be unable to use their weapons after respawning.
