Apex Legends Fixes Steam Settings Resets and Cuts Fast Draw Bonuses
Fast Draw's reload-time benefit fell from 35% to 25%, while its consumable-use benefit went from 50% to 25%.

Respawn’s Oct. 2 Steam update fixed an issue that reset Apex Legends settings after each relaunch for some Steam players and reduced two Fast Draw Wild Card benefits.
The settings issue mainly affected players with unusual folder structures or Apex installation locations, and was most common in APAC. The fix addresses a problem that could force those players to reset their preferences every time they reopened the game.
Fast Draw’s reload-time reduction benefit is now 25%, down from 35%. Its consumable-use time reduction also fell to 25%, from 50%, cutting that benefit by half.
The changes follow the Oct. 1 update, which reduced Fighter’s Defense from 55% to 50% and lowered the maximum stored Ultimates for Ryu, Chun-Li, and Dhalsim from three to two.
