CD Projekt RED has announced that a new patch for Cyberpunk 2077, Patch 2.02, is coming. Although it’s a minor update, it aims to address some issues and add new features to the game.
Players will no longer experience a fatal error, or “flatline,” after entering the Delamain AV in the mission Path of Glory. The shutters previously blocking entry to Black Sapphire in the Run This Town mission will be fixed. An issue where cyberware could be unintentionally downgraded to Tier 1 after updating the game to 2.01 will be resolved.
The update will adjust skill progression passives, although the details are still scant. The timers in courier missions will be rebalanced to offer a more streamlined experience. Players will have the option to mark vehicles as favorites in the Call Vehicle menu.
This is not a big update, so don’t hold out for large-scale changes. The patch is more about fine-tuning and resolving minor issues to improve the gameplay experience.
While Patch 2.02 may not dramatically change Cyberpunk 2077, it should make the game smoother and more enjoyable for its players.
