Blizzard has just announced that Challenge Rifts are going to be available in the Patch 2.6.0, which is on its way. What is Challenge Rifts? Well, let’s make it simple for you. It’s a weekly event, based on a weekly static version of an already completed Greater Rift. To Create a Challenge Rift, a Greater Rift run is pulled directly from a player’s account. How? Takes a snapshot of the exact character, together with his items, levels, skills and available gear for everyone else. In this way, players will be able to try out a completely different build and see if it suit their needs, while also get a chance to earn rewards by beating the original time of the original player.
This snapshot is also going to include an exact copy of the Greater Rift they’ve completed before, by playing with the same character. Exactly as appeared when the original player completed the full run. Do you have the skills to outplay and beat the original timing? This is your chance to prove yourself in the community, that you’re a true master of all Diablo III classes.
Diablo 3 fans, this is the new feature that will probably open your eyes and make the game more interesting, finally.
Challenge Rift Rewards
In order to get all the rewards, all you need to do is to beat the time the previous player has achieved in finishing his run. If you beat his time, you will get a weekly satchel, filled with bounty and crafting materials, including Blood Shards.
After 2.6.0 comes to live, Challenge Rifts event will rotate every Monday, which makes you try 4 different builds every month. It should be easy to outperform the time of the original runner, however, you will need to possess a really strong class knowledge.
Because of this new event, Blizzard Launched a trailer which actually shows the first look of Challenge Rifts in Diablo III. Are you ready to tackle the original time of the original runner? This is your chance to prove that you’re the best and most acknowledged amongst all players. It’s time for you to prepare for Diablo III’s patch 2.6.0 and show the world you’re the one.
