Destiny 2 Servers Undergo Maintenance for Patch 7.1.5.3 Release, Patch Notes and more

Bungie, the developer behind the popular online multiplayer first-person shooter Destiny 2, has announced scheduled server maintenance for today, August 8. This maintenance period will make way for the release of update 7.1.5.3 across all platforms.

ACTIVITIES

BATTLEGROUNDS

  • Unstoppable Champions kills are now properly counted in PsiOps Battleground: Moon Nightfall.

TRIALS OF OSIRIS

  • Drop rates for In Memoriam Ghost from Trials of the Osiris have been improved.

GENERAL

  • Players are now able to claim “It’s in the cards” reward from Suraya Hawthorne

Server Maintenance and Update Status

Below is information on upcoming server maintenance periods or updates to a Destiny release:
Tuesday, August 8, 2023
7:00 AM PDT -7 UTC
    • Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance.
    • Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, 3rd-party apps, and the Bungie Store.
    • Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
8:15 AM PDT -7 UTC
    • Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance.
    • Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back in until 10 AM PDT.
    • Ongoing Destiny maintenance is expected to conclude at 11 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT -7 UTC
    • Update 7.1.5.3 will be available across all platforms and regions.
    • Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2.
    • Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
    • Clan features may remain offline until maintenance is complete.
11:00 AM PDT -7 UTC
    • Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude.
    • Console players who encounter issues updating to 7.1.5.3 should restart their console and try downloading the Update.
    • Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
