S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Leaked WIP Footage Highlights VFX and Scripted Sequences

First the warning, now the leaks...

After numerous blackmails and threats, hackers have recently leaked work-in-progress footage from the upcoming game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, much to the disappointment of the developer, GSC Game World, and fans. The leaked footage showcases VFX, physics-based scripted sequences, and weather effects related to the game’s anomaly traps. The video can be found below, but what’s particularly weird with this one is that it comes from the same person that leaked the Hogwarts Legacy gameplay.

While some fans may find the leaked footage interesting, it’s important to remember that it does not represent the final product. As such, fans should refrain from distributing it and instead show patience and support for the developer during the ongoing challenges they are facing.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 promises to feature an epic, non-linear story with choices that will have both short-term consequences and global outcomes. Set inside the Chornobyl exclusion zone, the game features new and old locations and is being developed using Unreal Engine 5.

The game was delayed until 2023, and it’s possible that the release date may be pushed back even further given the ongoing challenges faced by the developer. Despite these setbacks, GSC Game World remains dedicated to delivering a quality product to its fans. By showing support and understanding during the development process, fans can help ensure that the final product lives up to their expectations and delivers an exciting and immersive gaming experience.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
