Overwatch 2 fans have been waiting for news on the game’s highly-anticipated PvE content. Earlier this month, we’ve also been notified that they are due for the upcoming year and are slowly surfacing. Executive producer Jared Neuss recently confirmed that the development team plans to talk about the content soon.
During a recent Twitch stream, Neuss clarified that when he says “soon,” he means “Jared soon,” which is different from the “Blizzard Soon™” meme. He also hinted that the announcement would be sooner than expected.
The PvE content for Overwatch 2 has been promoted as a full-featured story mission with skill trees and unique abilities for heroes. There will also be Hero Missions that offer extensive replay value. However, the number of tasks and challenges players will face is still unknown.
In addition to the PvE content announcement, Neuss has also confirmed that the team will give insight into “what the year holds” for Overwatch 2 soon. With Season 4 approaching and no details yet revealed, fans will likely be eager to hear more about what’s in store for the game.
