Bethesda Delays Redfall and Starfield to the first half of 2023

Highly-anticipated Starfield gets delayed.

Bethesda’s interstellar title, Starfield, and Arkane Studios’ Redfall are being delayed. On Thursday, the developer revealed that it has concluded to delay Redfall and Starfield to the first half of 2023. The reason for the delay is simply due to the incomplete code, as the developer needs more time to polish things out and ensure great entertainment by providing the most polished versions of them.

The announcement was first noted on Bethesda’s official Twitter profile, claiming that “the teams at Arkane Austin and Bethesda Game Studios have incredible ambitions for their games, and they want to ensure that players receive the best, most polished versions of them.”

Starfield was supposed to launch on Xbox and PC on November 11, 2022. Bethesda seemed very confident in its efforts based on the initial release date, especially for a game of this caliber. It’s sad to witness this delay, as Starfield is one of the most anticipated games announced to arrive in the near future. Starfield will include the first unique universe developed by Bethesda in 25 years of existence. Bethesda is more likely to be hinting at a new flagship video game to carry the industry in a whole new direction.
