Together with the launch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 on March 20, the company behind the game, Epic Games, committed to raising funds for humanitarian relief for all those affected by the war in Ukraine. With Xbox, which devoted its proceeds to Fortnite, Epic Games has managed to raise 36$ million dollars as of March 21.
According to the official statement by Epic Games, “as of March 21, together we’ve raised $36 million in humanitarian relief funds to support people affected by the war in Ukraine”. The humanitarian organizations of choice that will be getting these funds are Unicef, World Food Programme, UNHCR, and Direct Relief.

All real-money Fortnite purchases made between March 20, 2022 and April 3, 2022 will be distributed. This includes V-Buck packs, Fortnite Crew, gifted Battle Passes, and cosmetic packs such as the Voidlander Pack sold for real money. Retail store purchases of in-game cosmetics and V-Bucks cards will also be included if they are redeemed in-game during this window. V-bucks solely are omitted.
As per the FAQ, the funds will be sent as quickly as possible, which should be performed shortly after they’re confirmed.
