Hey Battlefield fans, I believe you waited for this moment for your whole life. Well, it has finally come. Battlefield 2042 Beta was announced a couple of days ago. The beta phase will officially start on October 6 with Early Access and then carry over to October 8, when it will be accessible for everyone. To dive straight in without any additional downtime, players will have the opportunity to preload their game on their favorite platforms starting tomorrow.
The Battlefield 2042 open beta shouldn’t take a lot of hard drive storage. The PlayStation unit will care to settle around 17GB of data. Another thing we know is that on PlayStation 5, the game won’t require a subscription, while Xbox users might have to have an active one to play. On the PC platform, however, the pre-orders and EA Play subscription will have the opportunity to dive in early on October 6, while others will have to wait for October 8.
The beta will include four playable character classes and two maps.
Join the fight on Orbital with a diverse selection of Specialists, cutting-edge weaponry, and vehicles to choose from. Open Beta between October 6-9, 2021. Early access is available on October 6-7, 2021, for all players who pre-ordered or are current EA Play members. Preload starts October 5, 2021.
