The upcoming title in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 2042, has raised its voice. EA has already started sending in technical tests to eligible users across the globe. The minimum and recommended specs for participating in it have also been revealed. Despite the strict policy, information has already been relayed to the public, echoing throughout the whole world. Battlefield 2042 is slated to release in October 2021.

Judging by the official data posted, Battlefield 2042 won’t be a very demanding video game. Instead, it may run on a rig with 8GB of RAM, i5-6600K or AMD FX-8350 CPUs, and AMD Radeon RX 560 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB) GPUs. What’s weird is how Electronic Arts tried to keep the technical playtest secret, while players who received the invite have already leaked it online.

EA’s policy calls on strict confidentiality, which has been completely ignored and broken. What can you do when you have gamers that cannot wait for the official Battlefield 2042 release. Everyone wants to witness something new, never experienced in the previous Battlefield series. Without further ado, let’s see the minimum and recommended PC System Requirements below.

With the current GPU shortage and gouging efforts, this is great news. Even better that I upgraded my 2012 desktop to an FX-8350 and GTX-1050 Ti this year!
