Hideo Kojima has been a guest in this year’s Summer Game Fest 2021 for a reason. Apparently, Death Stranding is far away from being finished. Death Stranding Director’s Cut is an upgrade from the 2019 original Death Stranding game. Some may believe it is a DLC, but we need to hear more once the full reveal arrive.
Hideo has confirmed that Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be fully revealed soon. How soon exactly? No one knows. Kojima Studios are not linear to predict, and Hideo is a mastermind for mystery and puzzles. Hence, we’ll have to just wait.
Death Stranding was launched in November 2019 for PlayStation 4. Hideo Kojima also gave a short brief on future projects, for which he said he cannot really say anything in specific. What’s in store remains a mystery, and Hideo tends to take it slowly instead of rushing with projects.
