Pokemon Legends: Arceus early Poke Ball Design Revealed

Nintendo of America brings the fans closer to the first look of the Poke Balls that will be used in the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Arceus is a 3D open-world RPG coming to the Switch. Fans have been waiting for such a game for a long time, and they’re finally about to get it. But, let’s get back to the original subject.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place years before the official Pokemon world that nowadays trainers know about. For that reason, the company went deeper and decided to alter the Poke Balls, making them look more medieval at first look.

Apparently, in the long-ago era of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the Poke Balls were different from what we know today. They are made of wood. They’re steam-puffing balls, a reaction that occurs after catching a Pokemon. A rather new and inventive mechanic, I’d say. What if you could also hear them if you shake the ball against your ear? We’ll have to wait and see for that one. Below you can find the early Poke Ball design.

In the long-ago era of #PokemonLegendsArceus, you’ll experience the gameplay of Pokémon from a whole new angle!

It’s unknown if the game would introduce different types of Poke Balls, just as Trainers have at hand nowadays. Different balls for different reasons or they will evolve as the players progress throughout the journey.
