Hey Tarkovians! Battlestate Games has enabled Twitch drops for undoubtedly the most popular and realistic looter-shooter game, Escape From Tarkov. Therefore, if you’re eager to receive free items in Escape From Tarkov, make sure you watch your favorite streamer on Twitch. The Twitch Drops event will last until January 8th, 2021, so you have plenty of items to get for free.
More precisely, the drop triggers every 3-4 hours. Hence, the drop rate would be around 6-8 items per day for those who have Twitch Opened 24/7 and watch streams eligible for drops. The drops will be distributed via in-game mail, just as any other EFT Twitch Drops event. Unlike before, there won’t be a streamer rotation, and every channel eligible for drops could be watched at any time.
What if you’re not getting an item, but you linked your Twitch Account correctly?
One of the community managers has noted that the Twitch Drops might be delayed. If that’s the case, there’s no need to panic, as it may be due to the server delay. According to Tobias Solem:
Given the fact that there are roughly 200K viewers, I’m assuming that there might be a delay due to an overloaded back-end for Twitch. This is unconfirmed however. But I believe its a reasonable possibility.
Hence, Tobias is alluding to patience, as all of you will get your items sooner or later. There’s no room for panic at all. Getting items for free during early wipe is very much appreciated by the Tarkov Community. It helps players balance their income much better but also establish their hideout and get it working faster.
