A couple of hours before the launch of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Blizzard has decided to perform some changes regarding dungeon leveling in the upcoming expansion. This has caught up attention quite fast, as some popular raiders and streamers who had previously successfully attempted to get the world’s first title in character leveling, such as Gingi from guild Echo, hardly oppose to it.
Blizzard’s note regarding the changes was posted in a blue post:
We’d like to note a difference between the Shadowlands Beta and the live game that you’re going to experience later today.
On your first character to explore the Shadowlands, you will not be able to queue for a Shadowlands dungeon if you haven’t yet restored access to that dungeon’s zone via the main quest campaign for that zone.
For example, while Necrotic Wake will be available the moment you depart Oribos (when you first reach the Shadowlands), you’ll have to complete the Bastion campaign and reopen the way to Maldraxxus before you can queue for the Plaguefall dungeon. You’ll then later unlock Mists of Tirna Scithe and Halls of Atonement as you complete their associated campaigns.
On subsequent characters, all dungeons can be made immediately available to you via the Threads of Fate system.
Gingi is known for his world’s first level 120 in Battle For Azeroth, and he had probably spent a lot of time preparing for yet another achievement of the same caliber. His response to Blizzard was as follows:

Months of preparations have been put to a halt, according to Gingi. He also judged the changes as disrespectful, which laughed in the eyes of all tryhards who’re ready to stay up all night and battle for the desired milestone.
