Since the launch of the PlayStation 5, fans have had the opportunity to delve into the enhanced, more powerful gaming conductor. Shortly after its arrival to consumers’ hands, many people have been seeking knowledge due to issues arising out of nowhere. None of them have yet managed to overcome everything, and one particular technical issue remains unaddressed.
Almost every console unit released in the past have been prone to such problems at launch. Following this, the PS5 is nothing special than them all, as multiple technical issues seem to have overrun the community. Some of them are still as baffling as first appeared, while others have fallen behind—none of them close to the downloading issue that seems very hard to resolve.
Recently, a user has found that a conflict between downloads occur if you have a physical disc of the game inserted in the PS5. Namely, if an update for the game, in this case, Devil May Cry 5, is noticed and pushed onto the PS5 while the DISC is in and the installation of the game is ongoing, then the update will push through, causing the general game download run at a much slower rate.
This made the user lose his internet connection and break his game installation completely. The only way to fix this would be to re-starting the whole process.
Devil May Cry 5 refused to let me proceed past the first mission, and was telling me it was going to take 1 hour to "Download/Install". I disconnected from the internet, deleted the game and re-inserted the disc and now it's installed the full thing from disc in <20 minutes.

The PS5 is currently winning the battle over the Xbox Series X, despite its breaking glitches and issues that have been found so far. In Japan, the PS5 has far more sales than the Xbox Series X, which somewhat sounds its fierce impact on the opposition.
