It seems that miHoYo might consider an expenditure for its open-world RPG title, Genshin Impact, on the next-gen PS5 console. The rumor comes first from a Twitter user, @bodograd222, known for mining important developer data and an individual that is long enough in the gaming industry to judge on his own. He’s also a Wikipedia editor who data’s integrity is always a priority.
To note, Genshin Impact is a record-breaking free-to-play open-world RPG with over $100 million in earnings in just the first two weeks of launch. In the tweet below, you can see the information that indicates Genshin Impact’s release on the PS5.
Unsure if old.

Previously, it was known that Genshin Impact had plans for new characters and next-gen platforms, thanks to IGN. As the flow continues, it is clear that miHoYo is undoubtedly working on a client suitable for the next-gen PS5 platform.
We already have plans in regards to Genshin Impact on next-gen consoles, and we will update everyone accordingly at a future date.
Developer miHoYo has already stated that further surprises are going to come. The content currently available in the game is just a small portion, and more content will arrive in the future. This has finally been confirmed and ready to move past. Genshin Impact will indeed be coming on the PS5, and will most probably avoid an Xbox Series X candidate, meaning it won’t expand on the Microsoft Consoles, at least not shortly.
