Scarlet Monastery has four entrances inside the same building in northeast Tirisfal Glades. Reach the monastery grounds first, then choose the correct wing in the entrance hall. Arriving at SM does not automatically mean you are at the same portal as your group.

How to Reach the Entrance
- Travel northeast through Tirisfal Glades towards Scarlet Monastery, around 85.3, 32.2 for the grounds and approach.
- Enter the main building and stop in the hall containing the wing doors.
- Choose the agreed wing. Facing the doors from the approach, the order from left to right is Graveyard, Cathedral, Armory and Library.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Horde groups can travel from the Undercity or Brill. Alliance groups face a longer journey through the northern Eastern Kingdoms, commonly approaching from Hillsbrad and Silverpine. Check the route before setting out, especially if your party is still too low-level to cross the Plaguelands comfortably.
Before You Go
The Library and Graveyard do not require the Scarlet Key, while the Armory and Cathedral have locked access. The key is found after Arcanist Doan in the Library. Arrange an opener before inviting the group for a locked wing.
The wings have different level bands and objectives. Specify GY, Library, Armory or Cathedral in your group description, and compare quests before entering. A single map marker covers the monastery grounds; the individual doors are too close together for separate zone-scale pins to be useful.
