Blackfathom Deeps is reached from the ruins at the northern end of Zoram Strand in northwest Ashenvale. The approach includes water and underground passages, so reaching the coastline is not the same as reaching the instance portal.

How to Reach the Entrance
- Travel to Zoram Strand on Ashenvale's western coast.
- Continue north along the strand to the ruined entrance area, around 14.5, 14.2 on the Ashenvale map.
- Descend into the ruins, follow the underwater section and continue through the approach until you find the instance portal.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Horde groups can stage from Zoram'gar Outpost on the southern end of the strand. Alliance groups can approach through western Ashenvale from the Astranaar side, then turn towards the coast. The local enemies make it sensible to meet before descending.
Before You Go
The outdoor ruin, the water passage and the instance portal are different points on the same approach. The map marks the coastal access, not a precise underwater route. Keep your group together and surface for air where necessary.
