Albion Online Dragonfire Patch 4 Adds Mouse Binds and Boosts Tier 8 Egg Odds
The November 2 patch also cuts large Ancient Lands boss health by 40% and revises combat balance across weapons, potions, and mounts.

Albion Online’s Dragonfire Patch 4 adds position-based keybindings, support for middle and side mouse buttons, and a new tier balance for Firewing Drake Egg drops. Version 32.040.1 is dated November 2, 2026, and its Steam patch notes also detail changes to Ancient Lands enemies and a broad set of combat adjustments. The Dragon Sanctuary and its Firewing Drake Egg rewards arrived with Dragonfire’s August launch, which introduced the Ancient Lands and Albion’s 20-player raid.
The egg changes favor the hardest Dragon Sanctuary runs. The overall chance of finding a Firewing Drake Egg rises by roughly 40%, but Tier 8 drop chances increase by 300%, Tier 7 stays about the same, and Tier 6 drops by roughly 66%. No other Dragon Sanctuary loot is affected. The 20-player raid was introduced with Dragonfire, which also brought the Ancient Lands to Albion Online.
For keyboard users, hotkeys now follow a key’s physical position rather than its assigned character, so changing keyboard layouts will not move existing bindings. Existing profiles should mostly retain their positions, though defaults may differ on some layouts. New or reset profiles use US-English QWERTY defaults, and Linux keybindings continue to assume QWERTY.
Other headline adjustments include a 40% health reduction for all bosses in large Ancient Lands, more health for mobs faced by groups of two or three, and less chest loot for those small groups. Combat changes touch axes, hammers, healing, crowd control, potions, and mounts.
