Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 adds 20 PS5 livery packs in its Marketplace batch for the week of October 26. They include Airbus A320 and A321LR packs, Boeing 747-8 and DC-3 liveries, and 16 H125 packs from HRSimYard. The weekly Marketplace update also marks the Antonov An-28 and Captain Sim’s Boeing 767-200 as new on PS5.
PS5 brings a large H125 livery selection
The new PS5 liveries cost between 20 and 32 SC. DC Scenery Design’s A320 and A321LR packs cost 20 SC each, while Perfect Flight’s Boeing 747-8 and DC-3 packs cost 32 SC apiece. All 16 HRSimYard H125 packs are priced at 32 SC, with designs covering countries including Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Nepal, Switzerland, and the United States. The Antonov An-28 and Boeing 767-200 each cost 60 SC.
Seven existing PS5 products are marked updated: five aircraft, including the Airbus A380-800-Elevated, Carenado B200, Eurofighter Typhoon, F16 C/D/I Fighting Falcon, and FSR300E, along with the BOEING 737MAX 9 and the free Thrustmaster TCA Sky Yoke. The October 26 batch is smaller than the October 12 cycle, which added 55 new PS5 Marketplace products.
PC and Xbox get new aircraft and scenery
PC and Xbox listings include a free World Update 23: Poland and the Baltics, plus the Antonov An-28 for $14.99. FlightSim Studio AG’s Boeing 727-200, 727-200F, and 727-200RE Super27 Expansion, as well as SkySimulations’ DC-9 Series 21-41-51, are marked new on PC only. Captain Sim’s Space Shuttle is marked new on both PC and Xbox.
Other additions span missions, city scenery, bundles, and airports. The mission selection includes Adventure New Zealand and Canada (Mission Pack), while SamScene3D adds city packs for Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Nairobi. New airports include EGBG Leicester Airport, HAAB Addis Ababa Bole, and WIII Soekarno Hatta Jakarta. The PC and Xbox update section also covers 33 existing products, including 16 aircraft such as the A350 Airliner, A380 Airliner, and PMDG 777 variants.
Flight Simulator 2020 gets its own additions
The separate Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 batch includes the Antonov An-28, Orbx’s Citation Sovereign+, four missions, three city scenery packs, and six airport listings. The airport group includes KLPR Lorain County Airport and SAAR Islas Malvinas Rosario. Several existing aircraft, missions, and airports are also marked updated.
The backlog figures for the 2020 edition do not match: the update gives a total of 409, but its detailed tables show 254 new products and 117 updated products, which add up to 371.
