STALCRAFT: X Festivity Will Return on October 28 With Arena Battles

Players will face mutant waves, boss encounters and PvP rounds while earning currency for upgrades and event rewards.

STALCRAFT: X’s Festivity event will return on October 28, bringing back the Arena for rounds that mix mutant defense with team PvP. The Steam announcement from EXBO says the Arena will be led by Metropolite. A day earlier, EXBO had teased Metropolite’s arena without explaining how it would play.

Teams will enter the Arena to defend the Relic as mutant waves threaten both the Idol and the players. Every fourth round will bring a boss with unique abilities, while every fifth round will pit teams against opponents in PvP, with 10% of the Idol’s durability at stake.

Players will earn currency at the end of each round to upgrade their shop, gear and Talismans. More teammates surviving and more currency left over mean a larger payout. Winning matches will also award Chrismite, which can be spent in the event shop on supplies, parts, tools, cosmetics and more.

A progression track will let players climb through leagues for additional rewards. Earned points won’t decrease after a loss, and all leagues except the top 2 are fixed. Rewards include weapon styles and paints, themed profile cosmetics, discount coupons and extra Chrismite.
