Dune: Awakening’s Scourge Event Is Scheduled for Oct. 23 to Nov. 2
The outbreak's phases will bring new contracts, and players can exchange infected blood for event-only cosmetics, decorations, emotes, and swatches.

Dune: Awakening’s Scourge event is scheduled to run from Oct. 23 through Nov. 2, sending players into Hagga Basin to investigate a spreading disease and hunt its infected victims.
The outbreak will progress through stages, with each phase bringing new contracts and objectives. To begin the investigation, players can speak with Frida Maltros at a trade station, then search Hagga Basin for infected enemies and collect blood from their encounters. Funcom’s Steam announcement says players can trade their findings for rewards available only during the event.
Those rewards include special cosmetics, decorations, emotes, and swatches. The changing objectives give the hunt a staged progression, while the event’s end date puts a limit on how long players have to earn its items.
