The First Descendant Hotfix 1.4.6b Targets an Onslaught Stage 4 Bug
Players need to reconnect after the patch before the temporary Stage 4 entry restriction lifts for them.
The First Descendant Hotfix 1.4.6b targets an Onslaught Stage 4 bug that could make some missions impossible to finish when their completion requirements changed mid-run. The hotfix follows the October 22 Patch 1.4.6 notes, which separately listed fixes for Onslaught Stage 5.
Nexon scheduled the hotfix for October 22, 2026, at 20:00 PDT on Steam, Xbox, and PS5, according to its Steam announcement. Players must reconnect after the patch is applied for the temporary Stage 4 entry restriction to lift.
Stage 4 also unlocks Onslaught Stage 5, which Update 1.4.5 added on October 15. One Stage 4 clear is required to unlock the newer stage, so players who still needed that run could be held back by the entry restriction.

- Fixed an issue where some missions in Onslaught Stage 4 could not be cleared because the mission completion requirements changed mid-progress.
- Accordingly, the temporary entry restriction on Onslaught Stage 4 has been lifted.
- Please note that the entry restriction will not be lifted unless you reconnect to the game after the patch is applied.
