Sunkenland v0.9.20 Adds 3 Companions for Base Work and Boat Combat
Recruits can gather resources, deposit full packs into configured chests, repair bases, and fight at sea.

Sunkenland update v0.9.20 adds three companions and expands how they can help around a base or aboard a boat, according to the Steam announcement. They can handle resource gathering, repairs, and defense, with new options for storing what they collect.
Assign companions to gather resources, chop trees, mine materials, or repair your base. When their backpacks fill, they can put items into chests that you have configured in advance, or return to you so you can decide where the items go.

The companions can also open doors and enter bases accessible only underwater, giving them more ways to work within different base layouts. Equip them with armor, weapons, and clothing, provide healing items and ammunition, and upgrade their backpacks to support them in combat. You can find the three recruits at Big Bucket Fortress, Radio Island, and Zion Atoll.
The Companion System first appeared on the Public Test Branch in v0.9.10. After that test phase, v0.9.20 brings further improvements to companion performance and functionality. Recruits can guard your base or come aboard your boat to fight at sea.
Beyond the companion changes, the update targets performance in building shadows, wire shaders, and power-grid calculations. It also fixes boat losses, graphics settings that could reset, a quest-tracker display issue after loading a save, and aircraft missing from the map.
