Escape From Tarkov “Spotter” Quest Guide
Find two placement locations in Streets of Tarkov, bring the required items and survive and extract.
Spotter sends you to two buildings on Streets of Tarkov to hide separate pieces of equipment. The Primorsky placement requires a key for the skybridge route, so bring it along with the sound moderator and thermal scope before setting out.
Requirements and objectives
Spotter unlocks 10 hours after completing Following the Bread Crumbs.
- Locate a sniping position in Concordia overlooking the construction site.
- Hide an AI .338 LM Tactical Sound Moderator near the red table.
- Locate a sniping position at Primorsky overlooking the movie theater.
- Hide a Trijicon REAP-IR thermal scope under Makhors’ bed.
- Survive and extract from the location.

The quest lists both placement items as required and does not list a found-in-raid requirement for either one.
How to complete Spotter
Place the sound moderator in Concordia
Go to apartment 8 on the third floor of the Concordia building. The placement point is the red table in the kitchen. The route described for reaching the apartment starts outside, through the staircase in House No. 1, and continues along the hallway to apartment 8. Hide the AI .338 LM Tactical Sound Moderator near the table.
Place the thermal scope in Primorsky 48
Apartment 10 is on the fourth floor of the Primorsky 48 apartment building. Reach it from the Primorsky 46 staircase by crossing the connecting skybridge. The Primorsky 46-48 skybridge key is required to enter the skybridge route. Inside apartment 10, go to the bedroom and hide the Trijicon REAP-IR thermal scope under the bed.
The apartment 10 entrance door can be breached from inside to leave. That does not replace the key needed to enter via the skybridge.
Survive and extract
Surviving and extracting from Streets of Tarkov is a listed objective. Make sure that objective is completed along with both item placements.
