Escape From Tarkov “Rough Tarkov” Quest Guide
Locate the mined approach to Woods' USEC camp and the Claymore inside Ground Zero's Tarbank building.
Rough Tarkov sends you to two dangerous spots: the mined approaches to Woods’ USEC camp and a Claymore beside a customer-service booth in Ground Zero’s Tarbank building. The quest is given by Jaeger, follows Acquaintance, and is required for the Kappa secure container.
Requirements and objectives
The quest has two location objectives, one on each map. No character-level requirement is stated here, and the objectives do not call for a specific item.
- Locate the heavily mined area on Woods.
- Locate the Claymore mine on Ground Zero.
Equipment
No quest-specific equipment is listed. The two Tripwire installation kits are rewards, not items to bring for these objectives.
How to complete Rough Tarkov
Locate the mined area on Woods
The objective is at the USEC camp in the northwest of Woods. The heavily mined ground covers the camp’s western and northwestern approaches. To reach the objective, enter the camp from the north, east, or south, then approach the sandbags between the large rocks on the camp’s west side. The sandbags mark the blocked path toward the mines.
Avoid pushing through the northwestern forested approach or continuing past the western rocks and ramp. The mined ground in the forest is marked by tree stumps, corpses, and craters; the western approaches have signs of detonated mines.
Locate the Claymore on Ground Zero
Go to the first floor of the Tarbank building and find customer desk booth No. 3. Move in front of the booth to complete the objective. You do not need to enter it.
