Escape From Tarkov “The Secret Recipe” Quest Guide
Find one quest-only component across five documented spots, then extract before handing it to Skier.
On Streets of Tarkov, The Secret Recipe hinges on getting one quest-only component out successfully, not on carrying a TerraGroup meeting room key. That key opens just one of the search spots, and the component is lost if you fail to extract.
Requirements and objectives
| Detail | What to know |
|---|---|
| Trader | Skier |
| Location | Streets of Tarkov |
| Quest item | One Secret component |
| Found in Raid | The Secret component is marked as requiring Found in Raid. |
- Locate and obtain the Secret component.
- Extract with it, then hand it over to Skier.
The component only appears for this task when the quest is active. Picking it up transfers it to the quest item inventory. If you fail to extract, you lose it.
Needed equipment
The TerraGroup meeting room key is optional for the quest overall. It unlocks the meeting room in the TerraGroup security post, where one of the listed component spawns can appear. The other locations do not require entering that room.
How to complete The Secret Recipe
Search the locations below for the component. The spawn list covers the TerraGroup security post and TerraGroup office.
TerraGroup security post
- Desk by the phone: Enter through the front door, turn right, then turn left at the end of the corridor. Check the desk in the back-left corner, next to the phone.
- Meeting room shelf: Check the shelf at the back right of the meeting room. Access to this room requires the TerraGroup meeting room key.
TerraGroup office
- File organizer: Turn left after entering and check the desk in the back-left corner. The component is inside a file organizer.
- Backmost cubicle: Check the desk at the back right of the rearmost cubicle.
- Meeting room: In the meeting room at the back right of the office, check the rolled-up blueprint.
Once you have the component, extract with it and hand it over to Skier to complete the quest.
