007 First Light will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18, 2027, IO Interactive confirmed. The date gives Bond’s latest adventure a firm place on the calendar after a series of delays.
The game was originally scheduled across platforms for March 27, 2026, before moving to May 27, when it launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch 2 version was later delayed to the third quarter of 2026. An Amazon Japan listing that pointed to September 16 was not confirmed by IO Interactive. In September, the studio pushed the Switch 2 release to March 2027 without giving an exact day.
Preorders are now available for a Deluxe Edition priced at $69.99, €69.99, or £69.99. It includes the Gleaming Lighter, Gleaming Earphones, Gleaming Dart Gun, and Gleaming Pen, plus the Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, and Gentleman Operator outfits and a weapon skin. Preordering also grants early access to a GoldenEye suit.
An Amazon-exclusive special edition includes Bond’s classic tuxedo. The game passed 4 million copies sold in August following its May launch on other platforms.
