007 First Light may arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 16, according to a retail listing that appeared ahead of an official announcement from IO Interactive.
The game launched on multiple platforms on May 27, but the Switch 2 version has not arrived alongside those releases. That could change in a matter of weeks if the date shown on the Amazon Japan listing is accurate.
Amazon Japan Lists a September 16 Release
The September 16 date was spotted by users on Reddit’s GamingLeaksAndRumours community. The listing has not been backed by an announcement from IO Interactive, so the date should be treated as a leak rather than a confirmed launch plan.
If the listing is correct, the Switch 2 version will arrive during a packed stretch of releases. It would follow Marvel’s Wolverine on PlayStation 5 by one day, land several days before LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Switch 2, and come 12 days after Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Retail listings can appear before publishers are ready to share launch details, but the date gives Switch 2 owners a possible window for Bond’s first adventure under IO Interactive. The studio has not yet confirmed whether the September 16 date is final.
