Chasing Carrots updated Halls of Torment‘s Experimental Branch on October 12, adding extra rewards for Weekly Challenges, filling in missing translations, and adjusting Weekly Challenge and Kill Modes. The developer outlined the changes in its October 12 Steam announcement.
The update follows the October 5 Experimental Branch release, which put the broader update on the test branch ahead of a stable release scheduled for October 22.
Chasing Carrots is also asking players to submit logs when crashes or other issues end a run. A report that a crash occurred is not enough to reproduce it, the developer says. The cause may depend on items, enemies, abilities, artifacts, or how far a character moves from the center. Most of these issues generate logs, which can be sent to [email protected]. The developer’s forum instructions for sending logs and crash logs explain how to submit them.
