Battlefield 6’s Vegas Maps Will Split Fights Between Resort Rooftops and Area 51 Tunnels
Vegas Strip routes squads through a damaged hotel and storm drains, while Area 51 packs three objectives beneath the desert base.

Battlefield 6’s Season 5 opens its Las Vegas phase on Oct. 13 with two of the game’s three Vegas maps. Vegas Strip and Area 51 offer sharply different routes through the fight, from resort rooftops and storm drains to a sprawling base with a buried facility. The Season 5 trailer also previewed REDSEC competition and a limited-time Dead Space PvE event alongside the Vegas reveal, as detailed in the Season 5 trailer coverage.
Vegas Strip stacks hotel, rooftop, and tunnel routes
Vegas Strip turns casinos, hotels, and resort grounds into a dense urban battleground. Fights can move from inside the hotel to the Olympus Pools courtyard, where high ground gives teams a view over routes between objectives.
At Olympus Lobby, squads can approach from the valet area or staff entrances, take ziplines to the roof, and drop through the collapsed dome. Multiple entry points let attackers pressure the objective from different levels.
The Crater & Storm Drains section contrasts exposed streets and debris with narrow underground passages. The drains offer a less exposed route through the map’s center, but their tight corridors trade long sightlines for close-range fights.
Area 51 puts three objectives beneath the desert
Area 51 connects an above-ground military base to a facility below it. Vehicles can clash around the crash site, while nearby hangars give infantry cover and routes to challenge advancing armor. The mountainside helipad overlooks several objectives and gives teams a position to contest aircraft.

A crater exposes the underground complex, where tunnels, garages, abandoned laboratories, and defensive positions surround three objectives. The Aircraft Control Tower offers another high-ground advantage at the start of a match, with upper floors overlooking much of the battlefield. Bringing it down shifts the fight to the rubble below.
The Season 5 roadmap schedules the Siege of Las Vegas phase for Oct. 13, followed by Casino Heist on Nov. 10 and Frozen Aces on Dec. 8. The developer map guide for Vegas Strip and Area 51 includes more design detail and tips. Season 5 also brings six weapons, two vehicles, and a PvE Halloween event, according to EA’s Season 5 announcement.
