Battlefield 6 Season 5 Trailer Reveals Oct. 13 Start and Dead Space Event

The season will bring combat to the Las Vegas Strip, a new Area 51 map, REDSEC competition, and a limited-time Dead Space PvE event.

Battlefield 6 Season 5 is scheduled to begin Oct. 13, bringing combat to the Las Vegas Strip, a new Area 51 map, and a limited-time Dead Space Halloween event. The Steam announcement also previews several additions for REDSEC.

At Area 51, players will defend classified secrets. The trailer also teases new weapons and hardware under the Siege of Las Vegas banner. Season 5 had already been previewed with three Las Vegas maps, two planned for launch, and REDSEC playlist changes.

REDSEC will add Rapid Royale, described as its fastest and most aggressive Battle Royale yet. Season 5 will also introduce the Open Series Competition and officially launch Ranked BR, adding new competitive options alongside the faster mode.

The Dead Space Halloween event will be limited-time and bring a new PvE experience centered on a mysterious artifact that threatens to corrupt the world.
