SCUM Hotfix 1.3.4.2.161892 Fixes Radioactive Carp Uranium Exploit
The hotfix also fixes fishing, wildlife, and equipment issues, though a line-breaking bug during fish retrieval remains unresolved.

SCUM hotfix 1.3.4.2.161892 fixes a bug that let players earn far more money than intended by processing Radioactive Carp. The catch produced excessive Depleted Uranium, making the radioactive-zone fishing bug a pressing problem for the in-game economy.
Gamepires said the economy issue called for a fix on October 8 rather than waiting for another update. The official Steam notes acknowledge that another download arrived just one day after the October 7 hotfix, which also addressed fishing problems.
A separate fishing issue is still unresolved. Pulling a fish ashore while walking backward can break the line, so players should avoid backing up during retrieval until Gamepires finishes its fix. The new hotfix also adjusts chat widgets and addresses problems with wildlife, clothing, headlamps, bows, and vehicle sounds.
