ARC Raiders Outpost Requires Level 18 and 3 Sheltered Retreat Stages

Unlocked at level 18, Sheltered Retreat sends Raiders to photograph a farmhouse on Blue Gate, gather building supplies, and clear ARC machines.

Level 18 unlocks Sheltered Retreat, the three-stage project required to open the Outpost in ARC Raiders. Its tasks include photographing a farmland house on The Blue Gate, gathering construction materials, and dealing with ARC machines.

Frozen Trail 2.0 went live on Oct. 8, adding the Outpost and a Research Bench. Once Sheltered Retreat is available, you can scroll through its stages to check later requirements and prepare materials ahead of time.

Sheltered Retreat requirements and rewards

Stage 1: Research Topside Living Conditions

Ruined Homestead is in southern Blue Gate, just south of Olive Grove. Head to the farmland buildings and photograph a house. A main farm building in the area will do, but you must bring an uncommon camera item rather than interact with the building to take the picture.

Shani sells a camera for 1.9k, or you can craft one at the basic workbench using 8 Plastic Parts and 1 Wire. Accepting the Sizing Things Up quest also gives you a camera. Keep it in your safe pocket until you reach the homestead, then equip it, aim with the right mouse button, and take the photo with the left mouse button. Completing the stage rewards the Camera Blueprint.

Stage 2: Gather Building Materials

Collect 3 Planks, 5 Sheet Metal, 10 ARC Alloy, and 3 Advanced Electrical Components. The reward is the Red Light Stick Blueprint.

Stage 3: Safeguard The Building Site

Distract and destroy ARC machines so construction can proceed undisturbed. Finishing this stage awards a Decorative Chair, 15 Planks, and 5 Durable Cloth.
