The Witcher 3 Remaster’s First 2 Days Brought More Than 450 Mod Releases and Updates

PC Gamer's tally includes new uploads and updates to long-running mods, including some that date back to the 2010s.

More than 450 Witcher 3 mods have been newly released or updated on Nexus Mods since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered arrived on PC on Sept. 29.. The count covers both new uploads and revisions, so it does not mean that 450 older mods have all been confirmed compatible with the remaster.

The quick burst of activity includes established mods dating back to the 2010s, many of which have been updated for the latest patch. The catalog spans practical tools such as The Witcher 3 Mod Manager, Fast Travel From Anywhere, Sort Everything and AutoLoot Advanced Settings.

Other entries add different kinds of changes, from Boat Races and No time for Gwent to Enhanced Camera and The Stable – Roach-Horse Customization Mod. GrimReaper2121 has also released De-mastered Geralt, adding a new entry to the growing collection.

Some of the listings keep things deliberately small. Jump in Shallow Water and Disable storybook intro warnings videos are among the more specific tweaks available. Which kind of mod do you most want to see stay compatible as the remaster changes the game?
