War Thunder 2.59.0.43 Fixes Missile Fragment Bug and Refreshes Vehicle Pools

The update raises the Su-33's maximum payload to 8,040 kg and revises the extra aircraft available in Naval Battles.

War Thunder Update 2.59.0.43 fixes a bug that sharply reduced the chance of incoming missiles being hit by fragments from other munitions. Gaijin’s Steam patch notes also list aircraft adjustments, changes to extra vehicle pools, and fixes for several maps and platform issues.

The aircraft changes include increased static thrust and high-altitude thrust for all F-102A variants. The Su-33’s maximum payload rises from 6,500 kg to 8,040 kg, while its per-wing limit increases from 2,500 kg to 3,000 kg. The patch also corrects a modification research requirement for the MiG-23M and fixes a hangar issue with the F-84B-26’s rear wheels.

War Thunder has also updated the extra random vehicle selections in Ground Battles and the aircraft selections in Naval Battles. The ground list gains vehicles in both Arcade and Realistic Battles, with a second group added only to Realistic Battles. Naval Battles sees aircraft added and removed from its pool, alongside revised weapon presets for the Ar 234 C-3, A-26B-10, A-26B-50, and Tu-4.

Other changes fix aircraft carrier positions on Golan Heights, high aircraft spawns and incorrect location names on Darwin Hill, and a controller issue in the crew training window. The notes also include a fix for jittering VR imagery when using DirectX 11 and fixes for two Mac crash issues. Earlier in the update series, Update 2.59.0.38 addressed missile damage and vehicle handling issues.
