Among Us v19.0.0 Adds the Influencer, a Ghost Role That Sends Up to 3 Images
The role has limited refreshes and an adjustable cooldown, while the patch also tweaks the Judge's gavel sound and adds a Redeem Reward button.
Among Us v19.0.0 is available now on all platforms, and the update gives dead Crewmates more than task progress to worry about. The new Ghost Crewmate role, the Influencer, can send picture-based messages to living players and potentially steer the next Emergency Meeting.
In its Steam announcement, Innersloth described the Influencer as a new way for ghosts to keep helping after death. The role joins Guardian Angels as another Ghost Crewmate option, giving players a way to act on information even after an Impostor has taken them out.
The Influencer’s Message ability lets a ghost choose up to 3 random images to send to a living Crewmate. Those images can help identify an Impostor, warn someone that an Impostor is nearby, or clear suspicion from another player. The catch is that the message may be misunderstood and send the wrong Crewmate toward ejection instead.
Refreshes are limited, so each image selection needs to count. Players can also adjust the Influencer’s cooldown through the Settings menu in the Dropship. Ghosts still need to complete their tasks, even with a new way to interfere in meetings.
The Influencer could become even more dangerous in a lobby with the Judge’s Overrule ability. The Judge can choose a Crewmate to eject, but a wrong choice ejects the Judge instead, creating a meeting where one image and one decision could determine the result.

Alongside the Influencer, the update addresses duplicate login pop-ups, changes the Judge’s gavel sound effect, and adds a new account menu button.
- Duplicate login pop ups: We saw you reports and made some server changes to lower the frequency of these appearing.
- Judge gavel smash SFX: Tweaked slightly! Don’t be alarmed.
- New Redeem Reward button has been added to the My Account menu. We’ll have more to share on this at a later date! Keep your visors peeled.
