Innersloth said in a Steam announcement that Among Us stopped supporting 2024 versions on June 22, 2026. If your main menu still shows v2024 in the lower-left corner, the studio says your copy is affected and should be updated to v17.4.0 as soon as possible.
The studio tied the change to ongoing work on new features, roles, bug fixes, and improved security. Innersloth also said keeping Crewmates on similar versions makes that work easier overall.
For players checking their build, the version marker lives in the bottom-left corner of the main menu. If it still reads v2024, the game needs the newer patch.
